BIO:

Kenshin grew up in Bucharest in the vibes of the best electronic music artists that come year after year to play in Romania's capital. Influenced by people & groups like Above & Beyond, Armin, ATB, Paul van Dyk, M.A.N.D.Y., Booka Shade, Dj. T, Loco Dice, Fatboy Slim, Djuma Soundsystem, Livio & Roby, Lopazz, Jeff Mills, Ilario Alicante and many many more, he decided to start his dj-ing career with 2 weekly shows, one of trance and one of tech-house & electro, on 2 new romanian radio stations. The first show, called "Bucharest Downtown Mix" spanned only 23 episodes, despite the audience and 13 guestmixes from big Romanian & international DJs.
"I decided to stop the show because I had a busy schedule and a 2 hour show with a guestmix is hard to do. Also some attempts to broadcast internationally failed because of the length of the show and the fact that it contained various electronic music such as house, techno, electro, tech-house and so on. It coincided with the spot when I said stop to digital mixing, sold my controller and my soundcard and bought a mixer and cd players."
Falling in love with analog mixing, Kenshin started a series of promo mixes entitled Analog.
"The concept behind Analog is simple. It..s the opposite of BDM. It..s shorter (10 tracks per mix). Each mix is more focused on a subgenre. And it..s mixed not on PC using programs but on players and vinyl turntables. I only use cds made from 320 kbps tracks or wav for perfect quality. "
In the same time with "Bucharest Downtown Mix" Kenshin started a new show with a local trance radio entitled "Trance Worldwide" that is still on air and reached 40 episodes. Later on he managed to get broadcasted on Trance.fm, a big digital radio from Holland. The third radio that picked up the show was DBS radio.
"This show has alot of potential. Trance is very well received in Europe and I love this genre. And the show being only 1 hour long, I have time to take really good care of it. I hope one day the show will be broadcasted in many countries and I would bring the best DJs for guestmix."
"I take this opportunity to thank all the artists that made up the songs I use in my mixes. Keep making great songs guys. I greet my listeners and I promise them that only the best tracks will be heard in my show. And if you really like a track, buy it please. Support the artists !!!"
