Duderstadt Biography
Dirk and Marco Duderstadt began their career in 1998 as Fragma, producing alongside dance legend Ramon ’Hardfloor’ Zenker. The trio promptly notched up No.1 chart positions all over the world with ’Toca Me’ (Toca’s Miracle). They’ve subsequently played at events all over the planet including Australia, North America, Panama, South Africa and Europe.
Leaving Fragma behind in 2003, they released ’Sunrise’ on Blank and Jones’ Gang:Go Music label and remixed for the first time under their Duderstadt alias. Following that they signed to the fast-emerging German imprint, Afterglow Records, putting out ’Mahananda’, which garnered plays from all the influential trance DJs (inc. Tune of the Week on from the worlds’ No1 DJ Armin van Buuren ASOT and plays from Ferry Corsten, Darren Tate, Woody van Eyden etc ).
In 2006 they topped that with the follow up ’Muhanjala’ which has rose to second place of the Dutch dance charts. It received seven plays on Paul van Dyk’s radioshow and entirely sold out on vinyl in just three weeks. As a result the pair were inundated with remix requests, underlining the quality of their production.
In 2007 they released ’Smile’ together with UK Singer Anita Kelsey again receiving countless plays by all Top DJ's. Currently they are working on their first artist album which will see the light in Winter 2007 and are set to release their new single ’Beatitude’ with Kirsty Hawkshaw.
